Soaring Shots

More a sort of glider photo album, really.
This page has lots of photographs which will take a long time to load.  I have not thumbnailed them.

Back to my sailplane page!

Terry Wools and I were cruising to Portland on 9/11/04 when he took this picture of me in the ASW-15.

Here I am after landing from my five hour and fourteen minute silver and gold duration flight on 11 July 1999.  I landed around 6:00 pm and cloud streets are still visible in this photo by Rob Morgan.

Here is another picture taken a moment later, as Rob Morgan congratulates me on my silver badge.  Photo by my official observer, Marty Hudson.

This is one of our two Pawnee towplanes.

The new toy.
Dick reflects on the new glider.
The cockpit (canopy finally open, and it only took six of us five minutes to figure it out).
Dick directs the stowing of the fuselage.
The horizontal stabilizer from the Grob also gets a coat of wax.
